Victoria Beckham has reached out to former Spice Girls bandmate Mel B after it was revealed she wouldn’t be attending her wedding to Rory McPhee.
Scary Spice, 50, and hairstylist Rory, 37, began dating in 2018 before Rory popped the question in 2022.
The couple are set to tie the knot at St Paul’s Cathedral today, after which it is reported they will enjoy a lavish £28,000 reception at The Shard with their guests.
One face that won’t be there is Posh Spice, however, after it was reported she was going to miss the nuptials as she was on holiday.
Despite the report published by MailOnline, she didn’t miss the chance to wish her former bandmate well in her marriage, sharing a snap of the pair together on her Instagram Stories with a touching message.
Congratulations @officalmelb @rorymcphee on your special day! I couldn’t be more excited for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! kisses xx’

The post comes just a day after Victora made another post, which she captioned: ‘Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx,’ she wrote.
A source explained Victoria’s absence to the Mail, saying: ‘Victoria has long-standing plans out of the country, and she simply can’t be there.
‘She adores Mel; they get on really well despite their paths going in opposite directions. It’s a real shame.
‘There is no issue between them, they haven’t fallen out. It’s just one of those things.’
MailOnline also reported Geri Halliwell would not be in attendance, claiming it was due to her and Mel’s troubled relationship over the years.
Emma Bunton, however, has made an appearance at the wedding, although Mel C isn’t expected to be there.

It will be Mel’s third wedding after she previously tied the knot with Jimmy Gulzar from 1998 to 2000, and Stephen Belafonte from 2007 to 2017.
She shares daughter Phoenix with Jimmy, son Angel with actor Eddie Murphy, and daughter Madison with Stephen.
Earlier this year, the popstar opened up on co-parenting with Eddie after years of difficulty between the two.
‘I think being in the kind of [situation] that I was in, it was hard for me to step out and have that relationship [with Eddie] flourish. I managed to do it bit by bit,’ she said.
‘Angel is coming over [to Murphy’s house]. They spend time together. They go on holiday together. He has [10] kids and he’s a proper father,’ she explained.
