Kelly Osbourne’s fiance Sid Wilson has revealed the adorable meaning behind her engagement ring.
The TV personality, 40, has known the Slipknot star, 48, since 1999, which is when his band toured with Ozzfest, which was founded by Kelly’s famous parents.
After striking up a close friendship, they revealed in February 2022 that things had turned romantic, welcoming their son, Sidney, later that year.
And in somewhat of a full-circle moment, Sid popped the question backstage at Black Sabbath’s final gig this weekend.
In a behind the scenes video from luxury jeweller Mouawad, Sid was seen meeting with boss Pascal Mouawad as he revealed the connection he wanted the custom ring to have with Kelly’s late friend Joan Rivers.
‘So I have a nickname for Kelly, and it’s “Honeybee” and coincidentally a friend of hers, Joan Rivers used to call her this,’ he revealed. ‘It was a nickname [Joan] had for her. I didn’t know this, it’s like an amazing coincidence, it’s like whoa, like meant to be.’

After Rivers’ death in 2014, Kelly got a bumblebee tattoo as a tribute to the comedian.
He revealed Kelly was always ‘buzzing around’ and ‘spreading good energy’, and so he wanted a bee and pollen-inspired design.
The 18K yellow gold ring has a beehive-inspired structure, along with white and yellow diamonds, and a 2.5 carat diamond.
He fought back tears after seeing the ring, and said it was ‘more than perfect’.
On Saturday night, Ozzy Osbourne and his bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward played together for the first time in 20 years, which was made bittersweet by Ozzy bowing out from performing for good.
But giving everyone something to celebrate, Sid got down on one knee behind the scenes at Birmingham’s Villa Park, where over 40,000 fans—including Hollywood’s Jason Momoa—waited to see the rock band.

Sharing a video on Instagram, Kelly joked: ‘Oh and this happened yesterday!’
The clip showed her other half standing in front of Ozzy and his wife, Sharon, preparing to ask the big question.
But in true Ozzy style, he couldn’t resist a gag, butting in with: ‘F**k off, you’re not marrying my daughter, are you?’
Sid laughed as he addressed Kelly: ‘Kelly, you know I love you more than anything.
‘Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you.’
‘So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?’, he asked her.

Overjoyed with the news, Ozzy then asked his future son-in-law for a glimpse at the ring up close while mother of the bride Sharon applauded.
Kelly jumped into her husband-to-be’s arms with glee as they celebrated.
After sharing the news online, Kelly was quickly inundated with congratulatory messages from fans and famous pals.
‘OMG KEL!!! Congraaatttsssss ❤️❤️❤️❤️’, commented TV presenter Rylan Clark.
‘YAAAAAAY’, declared YungBlud.
‘Congratulations my love!!!!! ❤️❤️’, added Lance Bass.

‘Awwwww. Congratulations!!! Love is such a blessing! 👏👏👏👏👏’, said Perez Hilton.
Kelly and Sid’s engagement comes after Kelly admitted she wasn’t fussed about getting married.
‘I found my guy. We don’t need the certificate,’ she told Us Weekly last year.
‘But I know Sid really wants to get married, so we will get married. It’s not as important to me.’
She explained further: ‘I’ve worn so many beautiful dresses and had so many moments that have been just about me, so that whole idea of a big day isn’t as important to me.
‘Never in a million f*****g years did I think I’d end up with a rockstar partner, but I did.’

She went on to say she ‘definitely’ wants to have ‘more babies’ with Sid.
Kelly also revealed that the family of three were yet to decide where they wanted to live permanently and whether to move back to the UK like her parents did after several years in the States.
‘We’re going to get a bigger house; we’re just trying to figure out where. Do we want to be close to the studio? Or do we want to go back to England?’ Kelly mused.
‘My son is going to go to school in England. The school system is a bit different in the UK, and I like the idea of uniforms. I like the idea of no guns [in] schools.’
Kelly’s music legend father, Ozzy, revealed in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
The following year, he halted touring—a decision he admitted was ‘killing [him]’—to have spinal surgery.

He’s faced mobility issues in recent years and is now seen using walking aids or relying on assistants to get around. For his show last night, he sat down on a leather throne.
‘It’s so good to be on this f*****g stage. You have no idea. I f*****g love you all,’ he told the Brummie crowd. ‘Let me see your hands in the air. You are the best, each and every one of you. God bless you all.’
In another emotional moment, he told the audience: ‘I don’t know what to say, man. I’ve been laid up for like six years. You have no idea how I feel—thank you from the bottom of my heart.’
